Hi! Kelsey here, and I am so excited to be starting my blog! Born and currently living in New Jersey, I’ve spent most of my 22 years coping with anxiety and depression. Admitting that and learning to handle it has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and I’m still learning. I’ve chosen the name “Miss Golden Mae” because not only is gold my favorite color, but it reminds me of confidence, something I am just now understanding the importance of. “Mae” is my middle name, and “Miss” because I’m also a damn lady (with the occasional trucker mouth).
I’ve come to a point in my life where I’m flat out fed up of feeling timid. I want to document my journey of getting back to the person I love being and hope that while writing about the things that make me happy, I inspire others in similar situations to follow a journey of their own.
